I have found that a couple of our sessions are totally INAPPROPRIATE for most male clients.
I have been doing massage therapy for 9 years and during that time, I actually have worked on a ton of male clients. They love the pressure I use and the hot stone therapy. I finally decided to make a separate menu just for them:
Stressbuster Deluxe Therapeutic Massage
(Targets specific areas with deep work) Things like long hours at work, dealing with demanding bosses, holiday shopping and dealing with relatives, conflicts with spouses, financial challenges, managing your children’s sports and extracurricular activities, juggling home and career, caring for aging parents, traveling, dealing with an illness or injury, attending school while holding down a job, and the increasing demands on your time, etc. all can take an often silent toll on our health and well-being and can result in extreme levels of unresolved stress. It is a well-documented fact that over 80% of disease has its roots in this type of stress. This FULL BODY session is powerful yet soothing and TARGETS the neck/shoulders, lower back, and feet with deep tissue and hot stone therapy, skillfully mixed with relaxation massage to ease away areas of tension, discomfort or pain. Warmed stones are also used on the feet to open up blocked energy in the body resulting in a renewed level of energy in the days following your session. Traveler’s Delight Therapeutic Massage
Meetings, seminars, cramped planes, driving for too long, classes, jet lag, sleeping on hotel beds, etc. all take a toll on the body. Many of our clients are from out of town so we have developed a massage therapy session just for them: Enjoy a soothing therapeutic massage that targets the neck/shoulders, lower back, legs, and hips with deep tissue/deep muscle therapy (gentle to moderate); hot stones that are used to heighten relaxation and help release tense muscles; a special blend of essential oils that bring about a sense of well-being, mental clarity, balance, and deep relaxation; and a luxurious extended foot massage is combined with hot stone therapy and a special foot treatment to take relaxation to a whole new level. The Sports Bomb
NEED MOSTLY DEEP TISSUE? Whether you are a world class athlete or a weekend jogger, sports massage will target the specific areas of your body you stress depending on your sport of choice. Your session will include deep tissue, relaxation massage, and hot stone therapy (which take muscle recovery to a whole new level). Warmed stones are used to apply pressure and help tense and overworked muscles to release toxins and tension. We will focus on those areas that are over-stressed from repetitive and even aggressive movements. SPECIAL $90 – 1 hr; $120 – 75 min; $150 – 90 min (reg. $170) [For a FULL body deep tissue session you MUST do 90 minutes; proper deep tissue is not done at a fast pace]
Deep Tissue Foot Massage (Treatment for Plantar Fascitis or Foot Pain)
Foot massage from a trained therapist is much more powerful than most people realize. It is great for your health and is one of the most relaxing things you could ever do for yourself. If you are experiencing foot pain or plantar fascitis, this treatment is for you. It is an extended version of the hot stone foot massage that sits in most of our sessions. It includes much more deep tissue work. 30 minutes – $50; 60 minutes – $100
About Donna
Donna is licensed by the Medical Board of Ohio and is considered a seasoned massage therapist. She is a hot stone massage master. Her background includes heading up the massage services at a country club in Beachwood, working in two high-end spas, and with two chiropractic clinics before getting her own office. She also used to do hotel massage for some of Cleveland’s most elite hotels. She has a ridiculous amount of experience working on male clients because she does a lot of sports massage and when her office does couple massage, the guys prefer her working on them because they love the amount of pressure she uses and she does very thorough bodywork.
