Newbies Don’t Want to Work on Prenatal Clients
Most of the area spas in our area employ newbies who have no desire, whatsoever, to do prenatal massage. They employ newbies right out of massage school because it increases their profit margin. They are not trained in prenatal and/or don’t feel comfortable working on pregnant clients, but they are often forced to do it anyways. I was one of those therapists years ago.
The spa where I worked part-time simply booked us with prenatal clients and we were required to work on them. This made me really angry so I vowed to get special training for working on prenatal clients. Part of what I do for my clients is client education so I am obligated to warn ladies about the differences in our area.
Specially-Trained in Prenatal
I am certified in prenatal massage and fully licensed. I am also one of the few therapists who mixes soothing hot stone therapy with all prenatal massages. The use of the stones allows me to bring much-needed relief to my clients, especially in the areas of their neck/shoulders, lower back/hips and feet. I use medium pressure and I incorporate a mixture of deep tissue and relaxation massage during the session. My prenatal clients emerge feeling like a brand-new person.
Superb Pampering
Our office was created to be a female sanctuary. It is calming and you will relax on a comfy, heated massage table and experience aromatherapy in the room. It is greatly influenced by the spa environment. Every detail is meticulously planned to help you to immediately feel relaxed. We use the best oils, the plushest linens, and the softest bolsters.
Enhanced Deep Tissue
Many places around town don’t do deep tissue on prenatal clients since the therapists are not trained in prenatal and are often not comfortable doing a prenatal massage. Every one of our sessions includes real deep tissue and is enhanced with hot stone therapy to really help the muscles relax quicker. The warmed stones are used mostly in the neck/shoulder area, on the feet, and the back/hips area. We offer sessions up to 90 minutes long. Our Moms emerge literally feeling like they have been given a brand new body.
