As of April 19, 2022, we are discontinuing couple massage with 2 therapists. We were literally number 1 in our area for couples massage for over 10 years. I was blessed to have one female therapist for 9 years and a male therapist for almost 12 years. My female therapist retired when the pandemic hit and my male therapist retired April 19th. There were both so skilled that I always said that if they left, I would kill couple massage with two therapists. That option is gone, but I offer other options…

I Am Noticing a Problem
I am seeing way too many people calling wanting couples massage when many of those people probably would benefit more from a single session. This is the number one reason I will not bring in any more therapists to resurrect our former couples massage.
People are putting way too much emphasis on doing this FUN thing together and an EXPERIENCE, rather than realizing that quality massage therapy is one of the most powerful things you can ever do for your health and well-being. My massage sessions are designed to leave clients literally feeling like a brand new person.
Am I saying you should NEVER want to do a couple massage? No. What I am saying is this: If you are super stressed and/or experiencing a lot of chronic pain and discomfort in your body (if you are not able to find a couple massage) you should be seeking a single session. Because the NUMBER ONE GOAL should be for YOU to get worked on. Even if it means you do it separately. SEE THE LIST BELOW…
Things In Our Area Have Drastically Changed
In our area alone, over 8 local massage schools have closed down permanently. This happened even before the pandemic hit. This means that there are not many newbies being churned out to go work at places like Massage Envy, Massage Heights, Hand and Stone (massage chains) and area spas. All these places love newbies because they can get away with paying them peanuts to serve their clients. If you call many of the chains they will say they are booked up but in reality they barely have enough massage therapists available.
Add to that the fact that many massage offices closed permanently when the pandemic hit. There was a great migration away from doing massages, even amongst licensed therapists.
Other Options
One therapist option: I still have many couples who came to us over the years who now insist on me working on both of them. The reason is because they have a really hard time finding another massage therapist who is highly-skilled and also uses great pressure and includes hot stone therapy. I am certified in sports and prenatal massage and have over 12 years experience. Also, because I don’t have to coordinate the schedule with another therapist, I can offer all sorts of time slots. I work on one person and then the next person 15 minutes later. The pricing is also MUCH LESS because I charge per couple rather than per person which is a $30 savings.
Referral: I can refer you to another office that does couple massage but they usually do not have same day appointments. If you need a referral, just send me a text with your name and when you need a couple massage and say you want a referral and I will forward your information to them so they can contact you.
