We made the decision to close our main Beachwood location down. We had that office since January 2011. Due to this ever-changing economy, the uncertain impact of this current administration on so many people’s incomes, and the constant issues we have experienced with our building being under two new management companies, we decided to pivot the business slightly. Our business is still open – we are just doing things differently.
TOO MANY CHANGES
A year before the pandemic hit, our building’s owner passed away. That owner was a wonderful landlord. After that, our building and the one next door were sold. We keep getting management companies running things who do not fix things right away. We have endured the elevator constantly being out; the air conditioning being down for several weeks during the worst part of the summer, and many days where the heat in our office is completely off (with temperatures under 30 degrees outside). This summer, we endured the air conditioning being out for 7 weeks; then it got fixed and it went out again. During those times we could not see clients or do trainings.
The 3-hour couple massage training, for now, is still available during late morning to early afternoon hours but in the new location which is 5 minutes from our old office, but in Highland Hills. In a few months, we are also considering offering training in clients’ homes and we may also offer a virtual option. The ultimate goal is to take the training completely online.
THE NEW LOCATION
My new temporary location is:
- Created to be a beautiful, cozy and comforting environment where my couples can really concentrate on learning and enjoying working on each other
- Safe – located a few minutes from our old location
- Geared towards demonstrating many of the things I teach in my trainings
